A member of ISSA, the leading trade association for the cleaning industry worldwide, Team Clean is also certified as a women’s business enterprise and minority business enterprise.
When their space needs changed dramatically in 2020 due to the pandemic, Team Clean engaged Gola after interviewing several other real estate service firms competing for their business. Once on board, our tenant representation team of Brian Neary, Colin Fleming and Janet Dieser worked with owner Donna Allie, Ph.D., and her staff to find new space better suited to their operational requirements.
The site selection process leveraged multiple shortlist options to provide exceptional economics, resulting in relocation from the Cobbs Creek neighborhood to Building 101 at The Navy Yard. The move decreased their rental rate by 45% and achieved total real estate cost savings of 75% thanks to landlord concessions on rent and turnkey improvements.
In addition to tenant representation, Gola helped Team Clean stay focused on their business priorities by handling space planning, vendor bidding, construction oversight, and move coordination as part of our value-added project management services. The company occupied their new space in December 2020.
