Meet the Gola Team
Mark Gola
Principal
Mark Gola has spent his career shaping how Gola operates today.
After joining the firm in the late 1980s, he played a central role in evolving it from a traditional brokerage into an occupier-focused model. As the industry moved toward dual representation, Gola made a deliberate choice to represent the occupier only.
In the 1990s, the addition of in-house project management brought strategy, negotiation, and execution under one team. That shift changed how clients were represented and how decisions were carried forward from planning through occupancy.
Today, Mark continues to work directly with clients on complex lease negotiations, relocations, and build-to-suit projects. His involvement keeps decisions grounded, consistent, and aligned with the client’s position.
Approach
Mark’s approach is straightforward: represent one side and stay accountable to it.
He works closely with clients to understand how real estate decisions affect operations, cost, and risk, then helps guide those decisions through negotiation and execution without losing alignment along the way.
Experience
Over the course of his career, Mark has represented corporate occupiers across a wide range of industries, advising on lease negotiations, relocations, renewals, and complex project execution.
His experience spans office, industrial, and specialized facilities, with a focus on helping organizations make informed decisions and carry them through with clarity.
Outside the Work
Mark remains closely connected to the region and the relationships that have shaped the firm. He is also supportive of his wife Tracey’s work in real estate and their shared interest in local cultural organizations.
